CONTEST: 09-09This month, we're going to be doing something... sacreligious. We're going to be applying cut-up methods, such as those used by William Burroughs, to recreate an existing poem in a new form. You can find more information on how the cut-up works here, but basically you'll be rearranging the words like a jigsaw, without subtracting or adding anything. Punctuation, we can be a bit more lax with.CONTEST: 09-09
However, we don't want you to work on one of your own poems, nor can we allow you to go using any old poem without running into permissions issues, so we'll be asking you to choose from one of the four poems below. Permission has been given
